Devlog 5: Happy April Fools things to you i guess

I almost didn't post anything today because, honestly, the last thing the internet needs is another fake announcement or a "gotcha" prank. I thought about doing a joke post where I said I was scrapping the whole glitch-tech aesthetic for a medieval farm simulator, but I don't think I have the energy to commit to the bit.

It’s April Fools, but I’m still just staring at the same blinking cursor and the same messy sketches of Minus. I’ve been trying to shake that feeling of being stuck that I mentioned yesterday. It's funny how a day dedicated to pranks makes you realize how much you actually care about the project you're working on. I don't want to joke about FRAGMENT because it's the only thing keeping me sane right now.

I spent most of the morning re-reading my notes on the Null-Bonded. I’m trying to figure out the exact point where a person stops being a person and just becomes a "fragment" of the hierarchy. If the Null is a digital parasite, does it leave any of the original code behind, or is it just a perfect imitation? It’s a dark thought for a holiday, but that’s where my head is at.

No fake trailers, no "I'm getting picked up by a major studio" lies—just me, my 8:30 AM coffee, and a lot of eraser shavings on my desk. I'm hoping by tomorrow I'll have actually broken through this wall and can get back to showing you guys more of the actual world-building.

Anyway, hope you guys didn't get fooled too badly today. Back to the grind for me.
